What's your Dosha?

The past year I have been studying the oldest recorded healthcare system in the world. This includes the psychological and spiritual concepts of humans, from genetics, tendencies, and environmental influences. How the five senses of the human body develop perception and the impact our environment has on creating diseases within the mind and in the body. Ayurvedic Medicine is a holistic healthcare approach that help patients become more aware of who they are, by understanding their genetics, psychological blueprint without judgement, natural tendencies, and what environments support the patient in a healthy mind and body. The therapies used to bring patients back into a healthy state is nutrition, herbalism, meditation, breathwork, chromotherapy, aromatherapy, and somatic therapy. The patient's connection with their spirituality is the underlying foundation to health. Along with the seven therapy practices, thus creating more self-awareness within the patient and personal empowerment in the patients natural healing abilities.

Ayurvedic Medicine uses the natural elements of the earth to understand the making of humans, this is called, Doshas. When collaborating with patients there is a series of analysis and pulse diagnosis that take place to determine a patient's Dosha. Once the Dosha is determined a formulated nutrition plan is developed to service the patient in natural homeostasis and to support healing in areas of imbalance. The focus is to first support the psychology of the patient and second is to support the digestive system with proper nutrients that aligns with the patient's genetics. Therefor creating a program that supports the patient in optimal health!
