Self-care is the greatest gift we can give ourselves. There are many different aspects of self-care. Breaking it down to emotional, mental, physical, spiritual, financial and lastly our relationships with others. Before we are able to open up a healthy space to give to another, we first must find our balance of all components of self-care. This level of awareness takes time through trial and failures until we truly discover our wants, needs and desires. Daily, I coach clients on self-care through exercise, nutrition and talk sessions such as this. As they are having to focus on themselves to reach personal goals they realize if they do not shut out the noise or distractions personal goals and inner-peace will always be out of reach. Self-care is a daily practice. A healthy balance. Our wants, needs, desires helps us establish healthy boundaries. Respectful, healthy and compassionate communication is beautiful gift that comes from self-care.
